A few weeks ago I wrote about Trump signs largely being absent here in Wilmington, NC, David Rouzer country. I wanted to share the hope this lack of roadside litter gave me.
Today things got even brighter. My neighbor, a dyed in the wool, lifelong Republican texted me to tell me she will be early voting for Biden/Harris and that Trump must be kicked out of office. Her demographic? White, college educated, suburban woman realtor. She has never voted for a Democrat before and is very connected in local Republican politics.
This message from her shocked me but then made me realize that yes, these folks really are out there and have had more than enough of Trump and his insanity.
I don’t have a picture of it but she also included a shot of a bumper sticker seen locally. It had a photo of Trump with a caption reading “Does this Ass make my car look fat?” Why, yes it does!
